After some feedback (from readers and colleages) on the date scene with Abeille and Violet (her date) I decided to make a few edits. My intention was definitely not to have Abeille appear uncaring to the mistake she made. Yes, this character made a mistake in not discussing her kinks with her date beforehand. Abeille took Violet's "show me what you want" statement and literally tried to show her. You can't go in expecting vanilla and be given a hot fudge sunday without warning. The edits leave the scene mostly in tact as I still want to show Abeille's mistake, but I also wanted to make my intention more clear. Abeille doesn't know this woman pretty much at all, she pulled away as soon as the woman showed dislike for the idea. I thought her expression and body language would be enough to show Abeille knew she did wrong. It wasn't, so I edited a bit to make her thoughts more clear. Hope this helps!

So many things have been happening recently or are going to be happening soon. I can hardly believe Lucinda and Kai's fourth and second birthday's are coming up at the end of next month. It's all happening so fast and it seems that just yesterday I was going on maternity leave for Red String (for the second time). O_O

I am recovering very well from my unexpected gallbladder surgery in June. That was quite the monkey-wrench in my work, though! Just as I was finally developing a buffer, poof! It was gone. Pushing to get it back so I can have limited interruption of updates for our big move.

Yep! We are moving at the end of August; all the way across the country to Portland, OR. We are super excited about the move because it means being back in a big artsy/comic scene again. A lot of our friends live out there and there are so many things about it that are so in tune with our interests.

Because of this big move, I will be having a big moving sale for my merchandise in an attempt to not have to lug so many books with us when we go. Erstwhile books will be on sale as well as a bunch of my other stuff. Keep watch for details!

A few people were asking, so I thought I would post it here as well. Aster uses “zir” and “ze” and identifies as Androgyne.

It's been a crazy few weeks. I had to unexpectedly go into the hospital, we're trying to prep our house to sell so that we can move to Portland, OR in September, and raise extra money for said adventure/paying for hospital bills. That's on top of all the comic projects I've got going right now. I do know how to keep busy! XD

Unfortunately, the Selz store for our Filthy Figments eBooks was shut down last week. Selz was getting pressure to remove their adult comic content, so they did. This was very frustrating because we (along with all our other fellow adult comic artists) were unceremoniously dropped us without warning. Just woke up and it was shut down. The sad part of this is that none of us were trying to sneak under the radar or anything. We had permission from Selz that our works were okay. But, I'm not going to harp on this. It's done and we've got ComicOrgy.com up and running again on our own personal store.

If you would like to contribute to the "Move to Portland/pay medical bills/support the artist" fund I've got a number of ways that you can do this.

1. Sushi plushies are in my etsy store. There's a variety of these cuties, but a limited supply of cuteness.

2. Erstwhile Books, Shotglasses, & T-shirts can be found here. This option and the plushies option actually really helps out in clearing out my stock before the move. Less to pack the better!

3. Picking up a subscription to Filthy Figments or buying my eBooks on ComicOrgy is also a help!

4. Patreon is another way you can help out. You can see exclusive sketches, works in progress, and even get early updates for Love Not Found.

And of course, if you can't do anything financially, that's okay. There are other ways you can show your support. You can spread the word about Love Not Found by liking and sharing posts on Facebook, retweeting on Twitter, and reblogging on Tumblr. You can do fan art for the comic (always so exciting), or even just send a friendly email. All those things are great ways to contribute to the health and growth of the comic.

I ended up having to go to the hospital for severe pain. I'm going to need my gall bladder removed, so they admitted me and I get surgery first thing Monday morning. They should be releasing me same day and I am allowed to do minimal work this week. I will be fatigued and all, but I should be able to finish up this page either Tuesday or Wednesday. My aim is to get both today's page and Wednesday's page finished at the same time. Friday is still up in the air because it is not yet inked.

In the meantime, I sure could use your support this month because surgery and hospital stuff is expensive even with insurance. Please consider supporting me on Patreon; through my store where I sell my books (Erstwhile, Red String, digital books); or even picking up a subscription for some naughty comics at Filthy Figments. Thanks everyone!
