Hello everyone! So, those of you who follow me on twitter already heard, but my computer died this past week. It was limping along already and it just had one more crash that unfortunately seemed to be its death cry. All of my files were backed up, so no worries there. However, I have been in the process of obtaining a new computer and getting everything set up, so I have not been able to work digitally the past four days. I made the switch to a Mac from my Windows PC. Everyone tells me it's better for art. I figured it was time to see if a Mac is for me. It was quite the hit on my wallet, but it should run smooth and take care of my art needs in the long run.

As I type this I literally just finished getting Photoshop and my scanner installed. I don't have a new page of Love Not Found for tonight's update, but will be back on track with a new page on Wednesday. My sincerest apologies for the delay. In the meantme, the lovely Ran from The End webcomic was so wonderful in contributing a piece of guest art to hold you over.

So I was considering how people on Monotropa would interact and keep from bumping into each other when out and about. In the second chapter, Abeille and Ivy go to a club where you can see Dance Beams in the background. The dancers would be encased in a forcefield beam that would keep others from getting underfoot.

In chapter 4, dancers at The Looking Glass have a bit more choice and mobility. They can enter the club as a hologram where they would relax in HoloPods. Or they could obtain a Dance Bracelet and enter in their solid form. The bracelet would create a closer to the body forcefield that would allow them more freedom in their dance space.

Wow, I can hardly believe we are already jumping in to the fourth chapter of this story. It feels like only yesterday Love Not Found launched. Time flies when you're having fun. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for reading the comic and all of the wonderful feedback you have send me thus far as well as the super adorable (and sometimes sexy) fan art you've gifted to me. Your support is very much appreciated.

I've been meaning to mention it, but I have started a new erotic comic over at Filthy Figments. It's a genderbent yaoi version of the fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast, appropriately named Beau and the Beast.

"Once upon a time, there was a Beast who lived alone in the woods and tended to his winter blooming roses. All was peaceful until he caught a thief trying to steal one of his roses. The Beast demanded the man's daughter in exchange for his life. The man was so terrified he agreed to this high price. However, the man did not HAVE a daughter..."

We had a blast at DragonCon this year! Sold out of a lot of merchandise, including the Love Not Found Chapter 1 mini comics. We printed them up to spread the word about the new series and ended up selling out of them early Saturday, our first item to sell out at the table. Whoops! Will definitely bring more copies to the next convention. Even with the booklets sold out we continued to pitch the series to folks and hand them a promo bookmark. A lot of my Red String fans didn't know I was working on a new series so it was great to get them up to speed.

I ended up doing something I rarely do, I did some cosplay! That's right! You're friendly neighborhood webcomic artist got all dressed up, wig, makeup and all! I went as Abeille in a little bee costume. Next year, I hope to have a custom Eyebright Industries uniform for the cons as well. Maybe even a wig styled with the hair up in the buns!
